Should be the next big move Black Mage learns in the next expansion. We see Nald'thal raining literal meteor sized flaming balls on us repeatedly from all angles. I would love to have this move as a Black Mage both for the comedy of having an ability that's related to Koji Fox's little joke that brought about the creation of the deity and also because it would just be cool to finally have a proper Meteor-like spell for Black Mage. :3

I'd like them to do...something with Scathe to make it actually worth using in some situations.

Maybe have it turn into Scathe II under certain circumstances and be the glorious death ray it was in FF XII/FFTA2.

FFXII Scathe was legit the most fun spell to use. It is particularly funny when you Shades of Black and get it randomly and just delete a whole room of enemies with it. A shame, really.
