Matchmaking in diamond tier is bad

As much as I was in favor of de-rankings, it definitely hurt the queues. Crystal queue times are really long now and whenever I do play its in unranked now.

Well, I called it months ago that this was going to happen so ppl got what they asked for.

It is what it is. I made a similar statement back then as well that it could be an issue, but matches with crystal 0 players all over the place was pretty bad as well. A lot of matches felt worse than gold games. Of course they also put diamonds into crystal games now so the matchmaking didn't really get better lol.

Basically the title. I have been stuck in diamond 5 for most of the series. The second I get 2 stars on the riser, I start matching in exclusively with crystal tier players (frequently matched against top 10 players in my data center!) and I get hard stomped. Then I fall down and get close to de ranking to platinum and I match against platinum players that I then stomp. Surely it can't be too difficult to match me in with only diamond players. I've tried matching at all times of the day and nothing seems to work.

If you think the matchmaking is bad up there, come back down to Bronze 3 and see how long you can put up with it before punching a hole in your PC.

Look, you're not talking to someone who's played 2 games and quit. I've been trying since season 1. There's no "carrying"!
So please takes these narcissistic myths of "carrying" back to the Overwatch or League of Legends forums where they belong.
