ah. I guess that one'd make sense to show face
I guess adding the option should make sense.
It'd make more hilarious content video in youtube at least

I would guess that it might be something they have to hard-code into the cutscene and can't set up as a choice, because it does seem logical to make it a choice if they could.
I think the point there was that you're not supposed to wear hats while you're in the chamber, which is why Krile removes her hood for that scene.
I don't think OP is contradicting themself. The argument isn't that silly outfits should be removed too, but that if someone is sufficiently inclined to be silly that they'll wear a toad head for MSQ, they're probably not that invested in the emotional cutscenes in the first place and the outfit is still mood-breaking, so why bother removing the headpiece?Unfortunately you lose me with this statement. It contradicts the previous. You DO see the point, whether you want to accept it or not. The devs automatically remove the headgear for particularly poignant scenes during the MSQ, and you recognize that. Unfortunately, you can still get away with a toad costume or whatever because if they did the same thing with your gear, then you would just be naked (as close to as default CC goes anyway) in the scenes. This issue does not exist for the head slot, and this should not have to be spelled out to you.
A bit harsh dont you think? The OP bascially says that they remove our headgear because they want to show a certain emotion in a cutscene, yet that emotion can still be destroyed because a person is still wearing the rest of the silly costume. So if the problem is the old code why not simply let the cutscene play like they normally do? After all most cutscenes dont remove anything on you when you watch them, so them doing it, is a choice they made.

The problem is not a deliberate jab to remove the identity you've established for your character. It's old code, and it's an old game. I agree it would be a nice option to allow players to choose, but there are much bigger fish to fry such as completing the CCs for Viera and Hrothgar.
Just not do the choice. Anyone can then decide if they want to wear a helmet or not.
Yeah. and then they bring the whole.., it'll take time and resources away from things that matter.<which yes, they do matter.., but that doesn't invalidate anything that was said. and tbh they took it the wrong way. kinda sad some feel the need to act that way with the "contradictions" in people's comments and ignore the overall topic.>A bit harsh dont you think? Whilst many media find lack of ability to show emotion on a Helmeted Face. There are shows that find ways to do so, without ever showing the characters face.<do I even have to show references to a Certain Disney series, or refer to a certain Slayer.>
They can do so too with some full helms.
<though admittedly, some helms can offer extra emotions with extra cost. cause some of them have facial features, like eyes, or with the animal costumes. moving lips and etc. and I do not expect them to add that extra effort in the future. and tbh no one expects them to add extra to the helms anyways, since the emotion the character feels is what one feels anyways.
We just.., Couldn't Let it Show.>
After the Nidhogg trial.
As far as the suggested option goes, I don't think it's as much a matter of can they do it and how much time will it take, but will they do it. We're talking about a story feature, where they had the intent to properly show emotion to really sell the moment.

As rare as those cutscenes are, it is rather annoying, and partially why I still wish (*inhales hopium*) that they add "face slot" glamours one day. My Roe used to go with the fake stash since the default beards in cc suck, and my Hrothgar uses the archaeodemon horns cuz horned kitty! - in both instances they don't take away "a hat/helmet" for those cutscenes but what's supposed to be a part of their face.
I just want more things in the "earrings" slot as a work-around. I will forever be disappointed that they implemented a second way to wear glasses but went the route of limited-application fashion accessories instead of earrings. One of my characters wears glasses and I really want it to be all the time, not just out of battle.
I've been meaning to ask how people would feel about a leg and or foot accessories.., since they are areas of the body that can have accessories irl.
many things can be placed there.<yes, even holsters, and what not(pouches, etc)>
or kinda like dancers bangles or whatever on/around the ankle.<yes, even chains.., you ___ ____>
but didn't feel it required too much need to make a thread about it..,
wait til someone takes these three ideas, and takes ownership in a thread now.
I don't see anything wrong with that. They would just have to make it a foot glam that could go whatever height is needed to be seen.I've been meaning to ask how people would feel about a leg and or foot accessories.., since they are areas of the body that can have accessories irl.

I agree, I'd love to be able to wear both glasses and horns, but then that'd sacrifice the option to wear glasses and earrings for somebody else, so the core of the issue still persists.I just want more things in the "earrings" slot as a work-around.
