Have always thought this should be a thing.I love my Tamamo ears and it is part of how I see my character with. However, SE wants emotional cutscenes to be without helmet for the sake of showing WoL's facial expression and prevent weird situations with someone who like to don a rabbit/toad/moogle head
The thing is, I don't see the point. You let everyone come into the cutscenes with whatever outfits of choice, from lore-appropriate gear to immersion-breaking skimpy bikini, or even as naked as far as Gobbert can approve. Why suddenly having helmet removed so important that you have to force it on players? Even if you remove a toad head, you can still see the toad costume.
IMO, this is a shouldn't, and even if SE insists, they should still offer an option for people who think otherwise.
Simple check box [remove helmet during cutscenes]
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
