That's a lame excuse. You can automate silencing someone for spamming abusive chat for 24 hours to let's 2 weeks and if the right tools are given to players in the form of mute chat and pings for specific person or whole team they will have even less reports.

This weird extreme punishment where a GM needs to ban someone every time they step out of line is some CCP shit, pretty sure GMs and Square are already judged on their overuse of banning the most minor infractions whilst letting full on cheating or other abuses fly for weeks and months.

Chatting needs to be enabled in this game for PvP but with the right tools. Pressing TAB or whatever button to bring up a list of all players and have a button there for mute and quick report.

Sounds like every mmo with pvp ever. I can guarantee you though, just like then and just like now you didn't have the tools to quick mute or silence someone. Community complains there's too much rubbish but Square hasn't provided rubbish bins or tools to help dispose and sort rubbish.

PvP and competitive PvP is extremely dynamic and requires much attention, monitoring and for the community to manage itself, however, how can this community thrive if we don't even have official PvP and Competitive PvP representatives.
