A lot of people in the mentor thread agreed with me...

A lot of mentors are not taking their role seriously (to help, if required).

Even if you put aside the fact that I suggested mentors should lose their status if they don't speak, it is evident that a lot of people are not happy with mentors. Many do it for the rewards and to have a nifty crown near their head. They aren't doing it to y'know...help people. That should be the sole role of a mentor. Make somebody feel welcome to the game. Help if needed. Not do stuff like be critical of people for not knowing their roles perfectly, etc.

No. It was a joke about removing the status. I wasn't talking about that.

I am talking about how people in that thread clearly did have an issue with mentors.

My "odd point" is that people dont take you seriously and why that may be. If you dont feel that's the case then I wonder why we are having this discussion in the first place.
