Looking how many people want more, its clearly proven you are incorrect.

Blue mage is fun because its something diffirent. And while its broken at many parts, its system to get this strenght is realy what makes it fun. Everything you get takes effort instead of just plain leveling (in which you easily can get boosted in). But because of that it has to remain limited. You cant balance such class for normal content.

Which is also why i think it being 2 expansions behind is fair (at lvl 80 it might be possible to still beat some EW content).

So obviously some alternaties are fine here, the problem is however: what will you add?
There arent a lot of possibilities here that realy will make it feel diffirent, blue mage simply can do a lot already.

Nope, Noone likes limited jobs.. like everyone said in the thread so far Blu should be a normal job. They need to gut it, give it a static set of spells like every other job so every Blu is the same. Make it the 4th caster, slap a 2 min burst window on it and place it between Blm and Smn dmg wise. Everyone in world will be happy.

Ngl hating on current limited job Blu has dipped into the minority lately, lots more folks have enjoyed Blu just because it doesnt feel like other jobs, which hasn't been all that welcomed with the overabundance of simplifing and unwelcomed changes.

Okay blu had "more content" but lets be real for a second cool that they have there own side piece of content but that all it really did. It can do all the old content with a title a mount behind cool. But after that what else can it be used for? The only time blue becomes relevant again is if they added another event that is tied to fates, take for instance the yokai event. Have a few blue mages in the area to help farm the required item but thats all . Or take it to lake land and farm bio gems if you want. Or if a relic is tied to some fate grinding

And i do feel there is drought with blu content. But i also do know it takes time to think of skills for it as well.

If they add one cool ill try it but as i mentioned before with blue there is nothing after said content is completed.

You sure about that? Just look around this thread. As we all know the opinions of people here on the forums represent 100% of the in game player base. They are the heroes standing up and speaking on the little guys behalf. So reading through this thread we can conclude Noone likes limited jobs. It's simple logic and basic maths really.

Of all the stupid things you've posted Aveyond, this may be the stupidest. Dark Knight sacrificed its own HP to do damaging attacks or would steal HP from the enemy. Summoner would use MP to summon large beings for damaging attacks. Tell me, how does either break the game? How does either not work within the confines of the normal rules of the games they have been in?

I'd rather see BLU develop into a usable job in regular content. Instead of just getting more repetitive spells for level 71-80, I'd like to see you unlock Unlimited BLU that has a fixed selection of spells with rebalanced effects to match that of the existing Caster DPS roster for levels 70+. You can still do limited BLU content of course or play as limited BLU out in the overworld, but you must select Unlimited which forces your action library into that specific build to run through the MSQ, do group content, or other things as a BLU.

There is some value to BLU content, but what I dislike about it is how quarantined it is from everything else in the game and how finite that content is, and I just feel bad for people who like BLU's job identity in how they're not allowed to actually use this job in the vast majority of content in this game--not even PVP which already has a different set of actions to each job's normal actions.
