Will we see another limited job?

Is there a future for Blue Mage/ Limited Jobs or is that scrapped content.

I really enjoyed the open world lvl'n and having to do certain duties or kill certain mobs to get my moveset.

Some jobs, like Beast Master, I want as normal jobs but I'd like to see what they do next with Blue Mage/ other limited jobs and their content.

I hope so. Gold saucer is begging for a limited job (Triadmancer? Gambler?), and something like Beastmaster could be something like a weird customizable Trust system combined with Pokemon.

I have no idea what "hardcore" content would look like with them, but I'm not entirely sure that's the point. Fun weird stuff on the side is something this game (and XI in its heyday) excels at.

I hope not. Limited jobs are a waste of resources that permanently shut out classic job fantasies like Blue Mage from being useable in the main content this game has to offer, not to mention the insufferable attitude that a lot of limited job defenders have adopted in order to defend the broken toy that SE gave them.

Anyone who still wants normal job fantasies like being a hunter with a pet like Beastmaster is to be a limited job must have never played other mmorpgs where they are common archetypes. Beast Mastery Hunter in WoW, etc.

They are a failed experiment and Blue Mage is long overdue the necessary course correction so that it can have more to do outside Moogle Events. We don't need to add more to the mix.

They really destroyed Blue Mage in 14 compared to 11.

Maybe feeler personalities would want it for cosmetic reasons

Personally I don't care for Limited Jobs and won't touch them...but the community seems to be real split on it since others seem to enjoy it quite a bit or absolutely hate it. Since it's all optional...I personally don't see the issue if they added more Limited Jobs.

If I had a gun to my head and was asked "You need to make a choice one way or the other and whatever choice you make will happen" then I guess I would say sure why not because like I said...those that want to play it could and those like me who want to ignore it can also do that.

BLU has been practically left untouched by the Devs and Players for far more than a year
Years of it existing and it's applicable for less than handful of things don't mean much anyway
So why waste the time sacrificing another Iconic Job on the alter of Limited Status when that time could be far more beneficial towards

1) Working on a new REAL Job for the next expansion
2) Taking extra care towards a job that is being reworked (Especially after they realized they need more time to consider their approach as they postponed AST and DRG)
3) Make a version of BLU that has some actual worth that can participate in content

I enjoy BLU with its current combat system, had fun when I do savage raiding with my static for the morbol mount. That said, they really need to improve it. At the very least, make it so limited job can do MSQ. I want beastmaster and will be okay if it's limited job, but if it won't be able to do msq like BLU I rather they don't waste resource on it yet.
