I was about to say that this was so accurate that it hurts. Then I saw you are in Balmung too and that explains how we are getting the same exact ones. Man those are annoying. Luckily our shout chat tends to drown those out extremely quickly.

Most of 'em aren't even FROM Balmung, most of the erp nightclubs are on Aether or like, Goblin and Malboro lmao. That always quietly amuses me, considering Bal is supposedly the "horny server" and all.

Covid and its consequences have been a disaster for the RP venue scene.

There were rumblings of this beginning well before the pandemic, it did exacerbate it, but its been a thing since late Stormblood.

Ya'll have a rep for a reason cause of Ul'Dah + the Waking Sands and what goes down in those two places. No other server has literal crowds standing around for the exact purpose of ERP in the way that Balmung does and you're more than welcome to tour the NA servers to confirm that. Nightclubs in all servers? Absolutely. Having the equivalent of a brothel in two populated areas of the game? Nah that's a you thing.

I think their point is the vast majority of folks standing around there have wanderer or traveler tags. Meaning they aren't from Balmung.

In fact we are finishing a major plot over the course of the next week.
