    Zalera is mostly a dead server.

    You should look at Bry/Adamantoise/Lamia/Behemoth. The main cities shout is always on the run.

    The first time I heard someone gushing about the great community (without sarcasm) was on a Zepla stream, and she's EU.
    I think this game is just widely regarded as having a friendly and welcoming community. I don't really agree with that idea myself and think most of it is born from a fear of being reported over the slightest misstep, but I don't think this idea is uniquely north american.

    The whole great community thing came from English-speaking players in general, of which the NA population is only a portion. Again, all these behaviors people are ascribing to NA players are present in abundance in the entire Western audience.
