When you barely see the mods interact with the community it's probably not a good thing.
Also the devs probably don't even see the forums. Too busy working on the game. Probably have no time to play it.
Used to be a 1000 character limit you could bypass by editing your post. When you can bypass a restriction like that that's poor html at it's finest.
They really don't care a whole lot about their forums all that much.
Most of their communication is done through liveletters but it's primarily just a live powerpoint presentation.
Bravely Default was much better since they asked players to take surveys and vote on things for feedback on making the game better during the livestream events they would have. You aren't getting that here.
To be fair, I wouldn't expect the devs to be directly interacting on the forums regardless. That should be the job of a community manager, who has the job of parsing our inane ramblings, turning it into useful feedback, and passing that along the chain. Of course I don't think we even have that, soo
