They could've planned this out better then. I don't prefer the servers to be low populated. I am sure they knew that this was gonna take longer then they thought with all the data that needed to be transferred. How could they not know? Maybe they miscalculated it.

Miscalculations happen, all the time. Things get caught up, they might not work as well in reality as they did in testing/simulations, shit happens. An extension is hardly of any concern, they need more time so they're taking it now. In the grand scheme of things, a small setback is far from the worst thing that could happen. Things don't always go exactly as planned, even with the best plans.

To be honest, we have no idea. It could have been planned out meticulously but if one thing goes wrong then it can throw the entire thing off. Personally I'd rather they take their time and make sure everything's intact and working well before bringing the servers back up.

The name Excalibur apparently derives from the Welsh Caledfwlch which combines the elements caled ("battle, hard"), and bwlch ("breach, gap, notch").[1] Geoffrey of Monmouth Latinised this to Caliburnus (likely influenced by the medieval Latin spelling calibs of Classical Latin chalybs "steel"), the name of Arthur's sword in his 12th-century work Historia Regum Britanniae. Caliburnus or Caliburn became Excalibur, Escalibor, and other variations when the Arthurian legend entered into French literature.

Well, it really depends on the version of the story you're reading. In a few, there's only one sword. In Mallory's Morte Darthur, they were two separate swords but both named Excalibur (confusing!). Caliburn is itself obviously just a variant of Excalibur.

Caliburn is derived from the welsh and cornish spelling, they are the same sword as Excalibur.

We would like to provide an update on the current status of the All Worlds maintenance that is currently being performed.

The cause for the repeated extension of the maintenance is due to the transfer of character data from their old Worlds to the new, merged Worlds, which is taking longer than originally planned. As a result, we extended the maintenance to end at 14:00 (GMT) and this is expected to be met for all Worlds except for Excalibur.
The transfer of character data for the Excalibur World will require additional time. Therefore, we are extending the maintenance by one hour to end at 17:00 (GMT).

We deeply apologise for the continued inconvenience caused by this extension and thank you for your patience.
