All Worlds Maintenance Extended (Mar. 26): Follow-up 2

We would like to provide an update on the current status of the All Worlds maintenance that is currently being performed.

The cause for the repeated extension of the maintenance is due to the transfer of character data from their old Worlds to the new, merged Worlds, which is taking longer than originally planned. As a result, we extended the maintenance to end at 6:00 a.m. (PDT) and this is expected to be met for all Worlds except for Excalibur.

The transfer of character data for the Excalibur World will require additional time. Therefore, we are extending the maintenance by one hour to end at 7:00 a.m. (PDT).

We deeply apologize for the continued inconvenience caused by this extension and thank you for your patience.

Doubtful that Excalibur has been causing problems. Probably more like at the scheduled time for maintenance to end they had only finished transferring a couple worlds. /extend maintenance. Oops still not done transferring, /extend maintenance Excalibur just happens to be the last server they got to.

Will they please stop extending it! Maybe they should've left things alone by not merging the servers. Seems like this is too much of a hassle. Or maybe they should've thought this out more before doing it.

So you would prefer that most of the servers be lacking in population rather than not be able to play for one day? Seems awfully short-sighted.

They could've planned this out better then. I don't prefer the servers to be low populated. I am sure they knew that this was gonna take longer then they thought with all the data that needed to be transferred. How could they not know? Maybe they miscalculated it.
