Those who do like Hildibrand, won't be forced to do the Relics to advanced.
Since that ship has already broken away into a different course.
I get people have their varying opinions and wants. their likes and dislikes of having to go through hildibrand be it slowly, or iritatedly CS skip.

but this topic has been beaten to death, undeath and back within seconds.
<some even may start pulling their bait png, but eh.>

also it's the first step of the Relics. just like some don't like that it's an easy first step,
it's the first step in a long journey.
and unlike Bozjan, Eurekan, and Anima.<which are new, researched, and contemporary weapons> these are actual recreations of old weapons just like the ARR ones are. So actual Relics this time.

But like said, can't say much of your view on it, as you're justified in its opinion.
But these are more Relics than most ,based on the story. Which you might have missed

Based on one of the cutscenes early on, not really. The end results were massively different from the ancient versions shown at the end of the solo dungeon, which were displayed in the background of the final boss arena in containment units. They went an entirely different direction. Some of them looked nice, don't get me wrong, but they weren't faithful recreations at all, which was what I was hoping for.
