Kicking someone doesn't always produce motivation to improve and with how reporting works, I don't blame anyone for being paranoid to speak up about it.

As far as the ongoing argument about learning new classes/healers/whatever, people learn in many different ways. Some do best with graphs or charts, some do best with videos, some do best with simply reading, doing the task itself, repetition, shadowing someone....I can go on. There's no right or wrong way to learn as long as the material is ultimately understood at the end of it. So, what works best for one person might not work well for someone else and that's okay. Just something to keep in mind.
I don't think anything really can come from threads like these.

There will always be someone out there who goes into a dungeon and doesn't ever heal, or doesn't use their AoEs, or doesn't turn on tank stance. And yet, for some reason we keep seeing these examples of someone who, despite months if not years of perfectly normal roulette runs, has 1 bad experience in leveling roulette and decides to write on the forums how that's indicative of an epidemic that is going to destroy FFXIV as we know it. No one will ever be able to clear a dungeon ever again because 1 player didn't use their AoEs in 1 leveling roulette.

The world is fine, and people not using AoEs is not an epidemic. Some players are bad at video games, news at 11.
