lets imagine that firemage got his wish of everyone in the game performing at purple level. that doesn't even help, because now the person who got a 75, the lowest purple possible, becomes the new '0%' due to how percentiles work. firemage, calling someone out for the color of rank they got in an unofficial ranking system on a third party website is quite sad really, and like others said, just prove Yoshi's point about why we cant have an actual dps meter ingame (toxic people). FFlogs is also busted as shit when it comes to certani considerations not being made, eg item level has zero filtering so someone with lower ilvl will be parsing vs someone in BIS. the guy has 80% uptime? dont really care tbh, you can call me out for 'oh you're defending bad gamer like this' but you cant know for sure how many casts he had to drop because of tanks taking TB aoes to him, DPS stacking spread marks on him, moving for mechanics, etc. yes he has ruin 2 but if he used that you'd probably call him out for using that cos 'its dps loss'. it's a bloody 24man, if you werent even in it you have no business even bringing it up, if you were in it, you could always just leave if the speed was not up to your standard. play with your static if you dont want to run the risk of going slower because of randoms

If we were at this mythical place where everyone was a god gamer then yes, our view on what a grey means would have to change. We see parts of this already wherever applicable because being consistently grey in ex fights is something entirely different than being consistently grey in ultimate fights.

again, if you want fast runs, play with players who you know are at the skill level you expect. but you can't expect everyone to play at that level, so going into DF is luck of the draw. if the fight gets cleared then i personally dont see the big deal, wow it took 30 mins instead of 20 to get through this 24man its the end of the world

just stop before you get yourself banned, it'd be a shame to lose such a 'grey-t' player from our P8S PFs

That's a lot of garbage excuse making for garbage play. I have played healer in Aglaia and done over a thousand more DPS than them. They have a RPR run where I still have higher numbers on my SGE than their RPR. If a healer or tank out DPSs while youre a DPS on bottom of the barrel content you should basically uninstall the game

the problem is you are completely misunderstanding what 'basic competency' is, clearing the fight IS basic competency according to the devs, as evidenced by the design of the game. anything beyond that is nice for extra speed, but ultimately unnecessary for the successful completion of the duty. telling people to uninstall if they're not up to your lofty standards doesnt help anyone, and if everyone who doesnt meet your expectations did uninstall, the game would probably die overnight, like it or not there's a lot of the playerbase who aren't good at the game, either cos they dont care, or dont know because the game never told them. expect basic competence from content that demands basic competence, sure, but aglaia isnt the place to get mad about it. or should people call me and you out for having bad runs too? i've had runs where i've got a good parse at the expense of forcing my coheal to do more healing and screwing their parse. ive had runs back when i was a tank main in SB when i saved the run at the cost of my own life (taking a laser meant to be baited by a dps during pantokrator 2 with living dead), screwing my parse but getting us the clear. look at my P8S runs as WHM, i have almost HALF of the healing of my cohealer, i dont feel good about getting blues by doing that, i feel like i'm a griefer for doing so little healing by comparison and still only getting blue. oh but the wacky color number doesnt factor in stuff like that, it just boils everyone down to one number for brainlets who cant read logs to wave around like it's somehow the only quantifier of competence in the game.

stop judging strangers by a number on a site only a fraction of the playerbase even uses, it's derisive, it's pathetic, it's below the standard of basic courtesy people would expect of a social interaction. you want your 'basic competency', as said before play with people who share your mindset, because DF is a roulette of 'what level of skill are we getting today' and you're signing up for whatever comes your way when you click register, suck it up or take steps on your end to mitigate the perceived problem. im not a huge fan of 24mans, so after i got enough coins to get the twines and glazes i needed for the BIS on classes i played, i just stopping doing aglaia. i dont like 24mans, i dont do the 24man, i have taken actions to mitigate the problem i have. now i suggest you do the same because the chances of the whole playerbase getting good enough to meet your standards within the game's lifespan is about as likely as either of us winning the lottery

i wish they'd just do an april fools day joke where they hide everyone's percentiles so all the epeen obsessed 'hardcore raiders' lose their minds for a day because if they cant lord over 'inferior' players with their unrecognised, unofficial, 'im better than you' sticker how will their ego be able to survive
