LOL - I am *so sorry* i dont know the difference between all of your crutches and third party tools and what they do and dont do - Ultimately they give you an edge that players like myself do not have and you just don't want to admit it, meanwhile debasing me and making me look as if im stupid.... for not knowing which cheats do what. just... wow.

That's the thing, ACT isnt a "cheat" because it only reads your battle logs, that it people can use the data to do awful things? sure just the same way people can make bots to sell gil.
but the data as used for improvement, just like XIVANALYSIS. I'm not trying to make you stupid but you are demonizing something that it's very clear you don't know what it is, i can understand that, after being bullied using this data you are against it, principally if you are a new player/raider, which I am assuming you are since you only have one? maybe two job 90. If you have logs on your character I'd ask you to give a try on xivanalysis, which is only but a website, not a TPT, and see if that is helpful to you.

It is called a delusion, by not understanding how video games and encounters work and are designed they believe "beating" one as a group is some great achievement worthy of respect and admiration while in reality the very fact it is a group only adds to the illusion of difficulty, you might play well and even improve over the course yet have 10-20 wipes which creates the illusion this is some really hard and difficulty challenge.

But once you start analyzing what is going on, isolate individual performance, you realize the only reason so many wipes happen is because some fail in either performance or mechanics repeatedly, even if you are doing more than it is required aka carrying it could still be not enough considering personal performance at the end isnt going to beat a group encounter single-handedly.

If they realize that, and then realize the ENORMOUS room for error and suboptimal performance that exists they would realize high end pve content is not some great achievement but of course, if you are an unhealthy gamer tm whose self worth depends on video game achievements and raid clears, you dont want to realize that since all your ego will collapse since you invested in the wrong place.

That is sadly a delusion no small amount of "raiders" have in mmorpgs in general.

Really weird seeing people bicker about who has the better numbers in raids as if to support using logs, when said bickering is exactly why the devs don’t want it in the game in the first place.

lets imagine that firemage got his wish of everyone in the game performing at purple level. that doesn't even help, because now the person who got a 75, the lowest purple possible, becomes the new '0%' due to how percentiles work. firemage, calling someone out for the color of rank they got in an unofficial ranking system on a third party website is quite sad really, and like others said, just prove Yoshi's point about why we cant have an actual dps meter ingame (toxic people). FFlogs is also busted as shit when it comes to certani considerations not being made, eg item level has zero filtering so someone with lower ilvl will be parsing vs someone in BIS. the guy has 80% uptime? dont really care tbh, you can call me out for 'oh you're defending bad gamer like this' but you cant know for sure how many casts he had to drop because of tanks taking TB aoes to him, DPS stacking spread marks on him, moving for mechanics, etc. yes he has ruin 2 but if he used that you'd probably call him out for using that cos 'its dps loss'. it's a bloody 24man, if you werent even in it you have no business even bringing it up, if you were in it, you could always just leave if the speed was not up to your standard. play with your static if you dont want to run the risk of going slower because of randoms

That's a lot of garbage excuse making for garbage play. I have played healer in Aglaia and done over a thousand more DPS than them. They have a RPR run where I still have higher numbers on my SGE than their RPR. If a healer or tank out DPSs while youre a DPS on bottom of the barrel content you should basically uninstall the game
