I can see it now: A level 70 quest where Jack asks the Warrior of Light clear Alphascape 1.0.

I'm honestly surprised by the lack of FF collabs. Then again, not getting collabs left and right is probably a good sign that the creative team isn't scraping the bottom of the barrel yet and is more busy coming up with new stories instead of shoehorning in collabs.
Though if they ever get to that point, then my dream scenario would be a Dissidia collab. Have some multiverse event, where our main character is actually being called as a warrior and representative of XIV.
We usually have 1 collab for expansion, althought there was none announced for endwalker so unless they are waiting for ff16 to launch to make one....I'm honestly surprised by the lack of FF collabs. They did announce that Endwalker would be free of collabs. If anything is in the works, we'll probably hear about it late next year with 7.0 announcements.
Yeah though it was collabs that involving other companies being pretty much out of the question for now, mostly because of covid, they however mentioned other SE properties being a possibility but just very low on their to do list. That being said collab planned now wont be seen till well beyond 7.0, takes roughly a year to do...
"if I don't do something like increasing 5% of player's sub fee this definitely won't be a reality but for now this isn't...possible."
This has a lot to do with the costs associated with getting Disney on board. The collab alone would have to add at least 1.5 million subscribers to the game. That's a big sell to try to get the executives on board. Could that happen? Maybe.... though I'm going to go out on a limb and say probably not. Hard to find exact numbers to know how well previous crossover events did, but going through Disney is going to be a much bigger ask than when they did crossover events with other titles owned fully by SquareEnix.
A Kingdom Hearts collab WOULD be one with another company. Disney owns even the new characters like Sora from the Kingdom Hearts games.Yeah though it was collabs that involving other companies being pretty much out of the question for now, mostly because of covid, they however mentioned other SE properties being a possibility but just very low on their to do list. I feel like we'd either get the nier stuff repurposed into organization XIII glams, or a keyblade aesthetic weapon set (least likely) or a gummi ship mount. The story would be nonsensical and hard to follow. Goofy and Donald would be strangely absent. OC Organization XIII characters only. Sora absent but spoken about in passing, he's busy doing other things. All of this to avoid disney getting mad or something. SE locks nomura in a box and makes him dream up more organization members. More ansem clones.
God, it'd be a beautiful disaster.
I would love to see a more proper Dragon Quest Collab compared to the meager one in the past.
Alliance raid of Dragon Quest Dungeons would be pretty cool since there is already lore behind that dimensional hopping those Golems did.
