    Maybe for you, everytime my friends want to start a relic they stick to Bozja fate farming. Plus, you can get gil off of poetics and the Marketboard. And isn't there an adage here that "Glamour is the endgame"? So "anything good in the long run", idk, maybe the same exact enjoyment you get off of getting a weapon and gear from Savage that you'll only use for about a couple months to a year until you find something better? .w.

    Remember when people went nuts because the Bozja weapons came out and immediately invalidated the Extreme Trial's weapon?

    What exactly did you start the PF for?

    You mention 24 man content. That's something most players will use Duty Finder for instead of Party Finder (unless they're trying to put together a group with unrestricted comps). Alliance raids are very hit or miss thanks to Crystal Tower being required for MSQ. That leads to most roulettes feeding Crystal Tower queues instead of the other Alliance raids. SE has tried to increase interest in them by requiring Ivalice for Bozja and Sky Pirates for Tataru's Grand Adventure but that's still a once and done.

    A lot of players simply don't enjoy the 24 man content and so are less likely to do it compared to Normal raids and other duties. I don't think there's a way that SE could incentivize the content more than it already is to get those players to give the content a second chance.

    Time of day also greatly matters. You're not going to get many people to respond to a PF listing if you're doing it outside of the data center's prime time.

    They’re doing even worse by making old content easier and removing abilities. You used to have an actual rotation at level 30, now you have…what, five abilities? Sure they have to remove old stuff to make room for new stuff…or do they? Perhaps they could’ve gone with horizontal progression instead so instead of “old” and “new” there’s simply…different?

    And WHY did they have to kill the most interesting dungeons in the whole game? ARR had soul because the dungeons were all unique and had special designs and mechanics and collectibles. Now they’re copy-and-paste hallway simulators. It’s disgraceful that we pay so much for so little. And no, having the same hallway simulator with a different skin isn’t new content.

    Most of the ARR dungeons haven't lost their uniqueness. Only aesthetic changes and boss mechanic changes.

    And thankfully they're not touching the optional dungeons. Most of them are linear in layout, but have unique features between bosses.

    Yeah because whenever I got queued for Copperbell Mine I was always jumping for joy getting to the 2nd boss where half of the party did absolutely nothing.

    The old dungeon designs fit with 2.0's gameplay mechs but in current game where a lot has been changed with the gameplay, those old mechanics just don't work anymore and wind up being ineffective and boring.

    I guarantee you, nobody was ever excited to run those dungeons prior to the rework. How about we take off those rose tinted nostalgia goggles.

    What do you mean standing in the corner, letting the tank getting poked and waiting for the bomb to do its thing isn't engaging content? We had mechanics too, you know?! We had to wait for a rabbit to pop up so we could kill it!

    People are quick to point out that the game is boring for being so straightforward. Which, sure, valid. But I almost never see people think of why it got like that.
    Pretty much, it's just that the rest of the game doesn't cater to that old design anymore. It's very jarring and while I'm not saying that the rework is super fun and exciting, it's at least consistent with what a new player will expect in the later game.
