    You get loot but not rewards if you unsync dungeons.
    So you'll get the stuff that drops from chests, but nothing will drop from mobs or bosses themselves, and that's where tomes come from.

    Yeah. Sure. Those are the "Mechanics" maybe. But it could have been anyway they wanted. I'm just saying that it's apparently not consistent with other "Drops" in unrestricted dungeons.
