wish i could give you advice but you have already had the best advice it would of been better if you did not have steam version maybe you can try and put in a support ticket to try and transfer your account to the mogstation instead good luck hope your health gets better soon

Thank you so much for your kind words. If only they allowed Steam user to purchase windows version too, or if the game itself available in my home country. But for now i hope that the tips from Steam Discussion group will work.

no problem like i say if you are still having issues with this problem put in a ticket you are in the regions were they actually care about customer service so if you put in a ticket like i say they may be able to transfer your steam licence to a windows licence instead
but also you said that it is not on the steam store in Indonesia are you even able to have a windows version of ffxiv in Indonesia ?

I think they wont be able to account trf even tho windows and steam actually use same launcher.

The Free Trial is available in Indonesia but not full game, i can still purchase the windows version but wont be able to use my character on steam, since need to make new account for that.

Again best solution i have is to keep my Steam Store in Japan to be able to purchase. I find a thread with similiar problem with me,

sadly the OP still not responding to my question about their Steam Store status, but it seems they revert their store region preferences to Indonesia, well mainly bcs of regional pricing.

many games have let people transfer accounts across im not sure if they will or will not but asking them would give you that answere by not asking them they cant help

so either way i would ask them they might be able to fix the issue you dont know until you try

Ah, yes, i havent tried yet but after searching and reading.some old threads in this forum i find that even SE unable to transferring steam license to pc windows under same SE Account. The only option is buy a PS or Mac Version if i want to use my current account.

I dont mind buying PC windows version again if they allowrd me to use my current account but apparently its not possible. I find this old thread and replied by Tech Support

Push comes to shove you may need to use a VPN when updating. I use one myself and have no issues with Steam. They dont LIKE vpns because it bypasses licensing restrictions. Like I can watch 4 different netflixes because some shows are available in the US but not the UK and visa versa.

Ah i see, how about purchasing mog item or subs? All this time i used amazon.jp payment options, rarely via steam
