why are we so really getting new hairs in ff14?

To be fair... We only got 01 new hair so far ever since EW launch, which is the high pony tail, even though it was already designed ever since Heavensward.

The other two were already NPC styles. While it's great that they were made available, we are due more. EW was the first expansion to launch without any new style as well.

Yeah, I agree with that. However, what's with the devs wanting hroths to look as stupid as humanly possible? We had 2B and Karen from finance, and now... little princess? Like, who designed that? There are more than pink panther/butterfly fairy hrothgars out there. lol Still nice to see updates, though. Maybe next time.

Sadly, I'd say it's statistic demographics. Smol cutesy female characters dominate the popularity charts, and that's why everyone else has to conform. We'll never get something like, idk, a punk mohawk or something that would actually look good on a Roe or a Hroth because it'd look awful on a female Miqo or Lala, and we can't have that.

Plenty of choices if you want medium or long length hair. Hardly anything if you want short hair. The last short hairstyle added was the Stormblood monk hair.

The thing is, plenty of the female hairstyles we get look terrible on the male models. So, it would be true gender equality if the female models had to suffer like their male counterparts. I'd gladly take a mohawk that looks awful on my female Viera, while my Hrothgar and Roegyden alts absolutely rock it.
