right now there's just not much at high level to support the speed in which people level now. sure there's other things you CAN do like the 5 world nm's, darkhold, and moogle. the thing is the gear drops from them fails in comparison to crafted gear so it's just being done as something to pass boredom ad not actually having a purpose to them besides an achievement in your history and nothing else.

i'm leaving out the strongholds because those are not what i'd consider high level content since most people just use them for leveling and bond parties at the coffers.
I don't agree completely with what you say. The one thing you said that is the least true in my opinion is that Dzemael Darkhold is useless now. It's currently the best, least inane way to acquire company seals.
