There’s nothing controversial of my take of not having women with such similar personality traits in the cast, and for them to revisit what made previous FF heroines greater than the likes of Y’shtola whose treatment of the people around her make her a detestable character and party member who should’ve been told off for her behavior ages ago, especially with the disdain and indifference with which she treats the men who dare to commit the sin of wanting to get closer to her or in Runar’s case, making the mistake of caring about her in a deep way.

She’s no Bayonetta to get away with that “sass” nor are the guys she rejects creepy old dudes where such sassy rejections would’ve been a lot more warranted, and where I would’ve gladly cheered her on after having no small amount of unfortunate similar experiences with being approached by men who had no business coming anywhere near me.

Zero, while not terrible, isn’t exactly the sort of female party member I’d add in to a mix of her, Y’shtola, and Krile. I would’ve rather seen that slot been taken up by a woman who leans more into the feminine type, as opposed to hey just look at me I’m strong pay me and I can solve your voidsent problem by just hitting things and turning them into rocks. A seductive demoness would’ve also been nice, but I guess G’raha Tia is supposed to fill that role, in an entirely forceful and unreciprocated manner with the player having 0 agency in such advances.
