Actually Im starting to think you are putting anyone who dares disagree with you on ignore..it explains the fact you havent replied once to valid critiques.

With the way you act, I don't blame aveyond for ignoring you. Because holy cow your posts are condescending af. I don't know if you realize this, but you come off as obsessed with antagonizing him. I don't even 100% agree with him but you replies make me want to.

Till this day I still see aveyond responding to people who disagree with him, so no he doesn't ignore anyone who disagree with him like you accused.

I am not the only person who has asked him the same questions. To date all he has said is remove x and y and z, then when asked what he would put in its place and why, silence. Also my previous question remains unanswered..how does he know by doing so he wont create a massive backlash..how does he know it will be well received...when it could probably NOT be.

Major changes to the MSQ and characters are not made lightly..nor should they ever be. Yet here he is saying "They have outstayed their welcome", "Minfilia was widely disliked" "Widespread calls to remove Yshtola"...I dont see how asking him to justify those broad, sweeping claims is in any way unreasonable.

What audience? Where does this come from? If he wants "fresh faces"....who? How? Under what rationale? "Pushed to" what state? How does he know what the audience likes and doesnt like?

Seems like a fair question to me.

One other point. I mentioned Star Wars NGE, if you look that up it tells the tale of a massive reset in the game..one that is synonymous with abject failure, one where they COMPLETELY misread their players wants and actual interests..to make such massive changes in the MSQ lineup WITHOUT making sure thats what their players actually WANT or will be happy with is literally asking for trouble.

Aveyond's "get rid of Y'shtola, the twins have outstayed their welcome, we need new faces", WITHOUT any assurance that these changes would be in any way a benefit to the game or to its audience, is tone deaf in the least, an invitation to a wholescale backlash and customer loss at worst.

The game IS the story, one does not yank out a foundation without making sure the whole thing doesnt come crashing down first.

Okay, Ill humour you Kozh, and ask in a "non antagonistic way":

What assurances or details or data or feedback do you have that says the massive changes you want to see in the MSQ are what the playerbase wants??

How do you know that the changes and "fresh faces" you go on about will be welcome, will be accepted, and will be for the good of the game, and not to its detriment? What makes you think that what you want is what others want?

If you DO have such feedback or insight, where did it come from and from whom?

There were comments done against characters both here and on Reddit. Most of those comments brought up how they felt Minfilia didn't do anything and just sat on the Waking Sands waiting for us to do stuff and then be like "pray return to the waking sands". It even became a meme.

As for "people didn't like Endwalker's story". I don't know if that's a majority or not, and he shouldn't consider it as such, but it's a fairly vocal group. We DO have entire threads on that matter that have since been buried, with people saying they didn't enjoy the story.

As for Y'shtola, the only comment I do know people made was for her to "just die already" after one too many fake-out deaths. Basically that's it, the comments were on the plot pulling their leg.

And as for "They have outstayed their welcome", we HAVE seen this sentiment being written by people on these threads, it just isn't a majority. Even on this one. My overall assumption based on how often I've seen people discuss this is that people who interacted with this thread like the Scions, and even those who want them to rotate out agree they should appear as cameos and still have an impact in the future.

I keep saying, the forums are the only place that aren't moderated, people can't downvote you to hell and where the devs actually go to for feedback. So you're more likely to find comments about stuff people dislike here than on Reddit or some random streamer who makes a living off of praising the game's every good deeds.

Also, we're just players of a videogame, not scientists. Odds are we see stuff come from word of mouth and comments in-game or on discord communities rather than verifiable statistics. Not to mention how forum posters are a minority anyway, just like any social media, because we're just a handful of players who do bother to comment on the game unlike the rest of the active playerbase.

So like... don't take what I said as me defending him. I do know where he's coming from bc I've seen comments myself. But that's all it was, comments. I can't say whether it was the playerbase's sentiment as a whole. Memes aren't statistics.
