Will Sin-eaters get the Voidsent treatment?

All the business involving the sin eaters in Eulmore did end up being a lot more...shallow then I was expecting.

You'd think they if they had some big scheme going on with the "ascended" simply being turned then processed into meol to keep the populace under Vauthry's sway, they would've had some secretive place where they were carrying it out. Though perhaps that subject matter was a bit too dark for them to want to delve into it further.

...like Ran'jit. They specifically mention in an MSQ quest that his body went missing, how was that NOT a hook for some future events?

I'm curious as to where that bit was mentioned.

When bodies go missing in XIV land, it tends to mean they either weren't actually dead, or Ascians are involved...though I'm not sure what one of the remaining Paragons would have to gain from using him as a puppet.

I remember it being from talking to an NPC shortly after the Eulmore solo instance, although checking Gamerescape's logs it doesn't seem to be there. Maybe it was incidental NPC dialog from around that time rather than actual MSQ dialog?

It's around 6.1 as you're looking for Chai Nuzz. One of the guards mentions his body being gone. Of course we see him die, there was a body, so I'm not sure it has any real relevence.

That makes sense! And... actually makes it even more suspect. Talking about Ran'jit's body right after his death would just be a matter of storytelling cleanup and addressing loose ends (and again, could've been a Eulmore expanded story thing that got cut), but specifically bringing it up after that's all done, when it's not really on anyone's mind? That definitely feels like putting the piece back on the board, so to speak.
