New commendation Achievement

I definitely think they should add a lot more. One for 5k, 10k, 20k 50k and 100k. And then wait for people to post on the forums that mentors need at least 100k comms, because I know it'll happen.
They could add titles on 10k, 50k and 100k and add a floating commendation I medal minion for 100k. Or a mount. But none of this is important just a nice goal.

this is a little alarming. ive been playing since before they added the commendation and i only have like 3.2k or something. i couldn't imagine 10k+ and beyond... especially for new players who start at 0. didn't they stop veteran rewards because of that very same reason?

They need to tie any rewards to achievements for GIVING, not receiving commendations. Receiving coms is such a random thing and is biased enough around certain roles getting more than others that such achievements really don't mean a whole lot at this point.

I've been playing this game since launch and I have 32 commendations. I've probably given out even fewer. They're one of the dumbest things in the game. If that's a thing you wanna grind out with your friends, you do you.

I went over 10K comms recently but I've played for like 25K hours. Apart from card collecting, we no lifers haven't had our feats rewarded in a lot of years. Nothing for big comms and collecting a huge amount of song rolls, mounts and minions. Also achievement certificates can't buy anything; they are already going years at a time without adding something to buy, and when they do it costs almost nothing.

Been playing since 2.0 and I only have 1200 commendations. I don’t talk, I don’t help, and I don’t stick around afterward. It’s the only thing keeping me from becoming a Mentor, and I’m totally fine without the accursed crown.

They stopped because they didn't want to keep adding in rewards for just having a sub. And since then they've added very little to achievements rewards which replaced it.
