For Noble Mold to pop it's placeholder had to go untouched --- meaning even of someone provoked it the timer reset -- for at least 20 hours. After those 20 hours it extended to having to be raining. The "rainy season" for Sanctuary of Zi'Tah was about two weeks every real life year.

How is someone supposed to be "better quicker faster" at not touching a mob?
