Going against the grain here.

I feel that making gear and glamour accessible to every race/job would take away from the lore associated with why they're restricted in the first place.

For instance, imagine level 1 auri tribal vestments on a hyur. Does that hyur have connections to auri culture or something? Or MNK garbs on a WHM. Are you saying that WHM would deign do anything else other than spam Glare?

Point is, gear is restricted either because their design is conductive to a role's many functions or because there're lore/cultural reasons for it. The only exception I'd make would be towards hempen undergarment gear.

There's enough homogenization going on anyway and I like me some uniqueness.

On a side note, if your reason for complaining about this is because you're a caster who's sick of robes, I strongly think your Glamour game is weak.
