Given 7.0 is highly likely to be Meracydia, and bound to involve dragons (as Tiamat was headed back there at the end of ShB), I wonder if we might not also get Vrtra joining us as Varshahn, given they went through the trouble of giving him a new model with a custom face and everything for 6.2?

Admittedly Vrtra does state he can only control the simulacrum at the cost of being less aware of things going on around his real body, but maybe with the people of Thavnair stepping up at the end of 6.1 he doesn't necessarily need to worry in that regard?

In 6.2 the people have stepped up to take care of things SO that Vitra could do business in the Void.
So I think Thavnir should be pretty ok, so long as nothing to powerful tries to cross over

I believe how you feel about the characters in the fanservice color your opinion of the fanservice itself. For people less inclined to like G'raha, it's going to be painful, but I'm willing to bet the Emet Selch lovers (me included) enjoyed seeing a lighter side of him as well (as light as he gets at least)

Prettymuch. I like G'raha and I like the Scions, to varying degrees from specifically liking them to "they're a good ally and haven't done anything to make me dislike them", so I enjoy seeing their interactions and lighter moments.

On the other hand, I find Hildibrand completely unbearable and comic relief with him (if relief is the right term in a storyline with nothing but) just makes me grit my teeth and at best find an occasional line funny.

The custom face is really the only thing they did for the new model, and it's mostly adapted from the existing child-face he had before, possibly without any editing besides stretching it to fit the adult model nicely. Everything else is just standard gear and hairstyle.

Which is not to say that there's no chance of him getting more featured later on, but it's not like they've invested a huge amount of effort into a custom model and are guaranteed to want more use out of it.
