Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

...daft question. The answer is likely no. But I'd like to ask what you guys think of it regardless.

Do you think that when they include and properly introduce Female Hrothgar, given that Misija Votyasch is a Hrothgar name and not a Roegadyn name, they will retcon Misija and her ancestor Queen Gunnhildr into Female Hrothgar models?

They had no such design in store back when they made them. And we know from the NPCs within Gangos itself that Hyurs and Roegadyn retain their traditional nomenclature. It doesn't make them any less Bozjan. So why would Misija be so jarring and be a clear inconsistent aspect of their story? It shouldn't be much different to program a different model for Misija and the Queen. It's no different than what they do for us; how do you think animations stay the same in cutscenes regardless of whether we're Roegadyn, Au Ra, Lalafell or Viera?

No offence to Roegadyn in general either. It's just that it's too jarring to have a character with a clearly Hrothgar name, with such an importance to our lore, be portrayed as a Female Roegadyn simply out of what we assume to be a lack of models at the time she was released. Who knows, maybe even you Roegadyn players would enjoy not having yet another display of villainy from your race... Memorable displays of heroism among Roegadyn seems to be limited to a dead character in one patch and Gosetsu.

I know it's a long shot. But they've gone back and edited old content because fans asked for it. Hence why I ask. To me, it appears rather jarring and I'd hope they changed Bozja's cutscene models to better reflect the race being portrayed. But what do you guys think?

I personally would really loath if the first ladygar in existence was a worthless bitch serving a shithole racist empire who betrayed bozja for people who've been oppressing them for 50 years (in the second misija report she herself states Garlemald has imposed its will on bozja for half a century...yet she blames her shit childhood on bozjans...makes sense Matsuno you dumb hack).

The first femgar should instead be a sharlayan scholar Graha has a crush on so every miqote players loses their shit just like they did over runashtola lmao.

I found Misija's story interesting. It was a story of how good people can get blinded by their hatred and fail to see the efforts of others toward a better future. Misija was abused by both the system and peers and her escape was literally the empire that saw her as an equal and gave her the opportunities that she wouldn't have had otherwise. From her perspective the Empire was oppressive, but it was a necessary evil in a way. Putting a different light on her. If you had to choose between your tormentor and a strict regime which would you choose? Both options suck, but one of them sucks less. That is why I wouldn't want her to be a Female Hrothgar, it would muddle the story and lessen the impact.

If this were to happen I would die of laughter XD. But honestly, I would rather have a Female Hrothgar be in a loving and supportive relationship rather than G'raha's love interest. She could serve the same role as Krile did in HW for Alphinaud, being the person who took G'raha in to become a citizen of Sharlyan and later a student.
