They should have made the demotion go all the way to the lowest bracket, at this point it being Gold.

In the first bracket you can hard carry games, but by the time you hit plat it becomes a pain because of people getting lucky streaks and ending there so you have to deal with those and the people that are actually climbing.

Out of the 60~ games it took to reach Crystal the most were spent trying to herd clueless low plats to victory.

………so from the feedback I’m seeing. I view this back to fighting games and it’s normal. The casuals are going to quit and just play…casual. The rank play will be extremely niche. So they may release top 100 on up FOMO mounts and other items. Yes, the small amount of the PvP will be extremely happy that these ppl are gone, but that’s not what Yoshi wants lmao.

Straight out lies. I had multiple matches where i had to fight 4v5 with lesser combs than the enemy had and we still managed to win. I play Sage currently btw.

So just stop telling yourself its all the fault of the others.

This is always the position held, and exclusively held, by people who lucked into high ranks.
There is no meta in CC right now, it is ENTIRELY RNG driven. There is no carrying or being carried, it's all about how much the matchmaking algorithm likes you.

the fact that i have seen really skilled players get roasted in game by my team because i watched their teamates run off and attack a ninja who was clearly baiting them multiple times kinda puts holes in your argument. Maybe a better matchmaking system would be nice. @Dionysius

Let’s be honest here. There are allot of cheaters in the higher tiers. Mostly Diamond+. I played some games and literally had a tank just run in and stand there and get killed every time. People who die 5-8 times in a match literally has me suspicious. Never had people die that much in lower ranks and even higher ranks but when I see some people run in and just stand there and get killed that’s definitely cheating/win trading.

Yeah there is skill involved as you rank up but you definitely can’t carry a team even if you play an overpowered job if you have people throwing the matches. It’s impossible. I believe OP when he says he’s encountering cheaters. I’ve seen them myself. Allot of them. It’s sad because if you didn’t climb early now it’s even worst time to try to climb because so many are throwing matches.

The most recent cheater experience i have dealt with was a Dragoon that two hits you from full hp which is normally impossible.
