These people aren't your coworkers.. they're your friends. Not a one of them is a professional anything. At this point I'd say nearly all the scions are jokes at this point I don't really feel I've seen many out side Thancred/Urianger or Estinien act with any real professionalism since we left the first. G'raha gets a little but then goes back to being creepy as soon after as possible
The Scions were a professional group, it's what made them interesting. I don't really think of most of them as friends to my player character I just don't feel affection for them and get on much better with the ones where the relationship is built on professional respect something absent from most of the cast now

No they weren't. They were essentially quasi-sanctioned vigilantes bankrolled by Alphinaud and Alisae's mom following the potentially deranged hallucinations of a young post-traumatic orphan girl. The Scions were a professional group, it's what made them interesting. I understand that the game allows and encourages some level of head canon, but after a certain point you're just playing an entirely different story to the rest of us.The Scions were a professional group, it's what made them interesting. Whilst you may only see them as coworkers, the game clearly positions them as your character's close friends.
I don't feel they're written that way at all, or if they are they are creepy forced friendships which make me deeply uncomfortable. Raha, Sthola and Alaise I think are the worst for this.I understand that the game allows and encourages some level of head canon, but after a certain point you're just playing an entirely different story to the rest of us.

Far be it from me to deny one's interpretation of a story, but if I may be so bold, personally, I find your interpretation to be pretty f'ing weird.
