The following are the general thoughts that runs through my mind whenever I'm manning the job:

"If I place my fairy here, they will be able to non-stop cast Embraces in this pull as opposed to pausing casts while they try to glue themselves to me.. effectively gaining more embraces casts."
"Oh the party is spreading rather erratically and I won't be able to reach them without risking myself... I need to move the fairy to the east.... juuust a little bit. Yep! Got it, <insert fae ability> will reach everybody now!"

...as opposed to just mindlessly pressing 1 button.

Similarly, ShB AST also had smaller radius Earthly Star (~8y) that can be used in similar fashion. It rewards player for recognizing an encounter. Now? It takes an actual effort to not getting healed thanks to its gigantic radius buff.

If they take away the so called gameplay nuance aka my fairy placement, I'm gonna be very pissed. So much for the time invested to learn properly placing the pets to squeeze out every single bits of benefits it can offer. Why do they make me waste my time when the right solution is to just keep complaining to devs until they remove something from the job? There are already 3 other healers that do not need think about this, why do I want all 4 to play even more same'y than they already do?

You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
