I basically grew up with Harvest Moon. I really like the island and hope it gets expanded upon. Or make a new island be in a volcano or something. haha

I'm still happier with housing as an activity.

Island Sanctuary will be my vacation spot. The economic mini-game looks like it could be fun once I've finished maxing out the sanctuary but I'm not a fan of spending time with irritable and erratic mammets.

Final Fantasy XIV feels like a chore since 2.0. Everything needs to be finished fast, otherwise you cannot keep up with everything new.
If you want to stay in raiding, you always need the best clothes.
Before 6.2 I forced myself to do CC as much as possible to not loose access to that new clothing set, even tough since Corona I have troubles breathing when I am focussed (and get dizzy and stuff).

Now this content is just for taking everything easy.
You have your personal (really wide) space, where you can do whatever you want. Yes, I used Inns since 1.x a lot. Now I have a bigger place.
Furthermore you achieve nothing. That means you do not have to do anything.

And yeah, I am still Level 3 and nobody cares. This is fantastic. I could take my time last week to visit the Gamescom multiple times. There is no raidleader on my island, who forces me to be there.

People need to see, that some content is not for them. Otherwise there would be no Extremes and Ultimates

I appreciate having fun content without having to run into show-offs every few seconds in glowing mounts and show the world how well they did in FFXIV.

But, I can't help but feel that this is more a way for Tataru Ex to exploit us for free than anything else.

Because I wouldn't call it a holiday to go to a deserted island and colonize it.

It's like in Stardew Valley, we're sick of working in a multi-national corporation, but we go to our grandfather's house to think about money and create a viable farm that brings in millions of gold.

I just go for a walk in a real forest when I want to relax.

I don't find a map full of clickable objects and timers relaxing though. Like others have said I just walk outside if I want to relax out in nature or visit one of the prettier zones in this game like Il Mheg and take screenshots.

Sounds nice but in reality you wouldn't even step one foot into a real forest without a guide.
But come to forum and looking for something to shit, pretending to do god's work to secure the game's future, that how you guys "relax".
