But nope, just silence and being stuck with a job that plays like shit now. Its moment to moment gameplay felt really good and building sen to cast high potency Midares was always fun for me, but there are now gaps in the rotation without having Kaiten in front of Iaijutsu and they hit like garbage. I might need to see a side-by-side comparison because namikiri and midare still felt unimpressive but to be fair, I could only stomach playing it for like 2 or 3 pulls, my testing was limited

Oh well, I'll play Black Mage, the only interesting job left in the game. I'm bad at it but it's fun
Considering the quality of the "explanation" behind the recent revert of the change to DRG where Jump/High Jump transformed into Mirage Dive, I don't think we'd get anything of substance even if Yoshi-P was forced to give us one. They'd just say it was done in response to player feedback that never existed.

I'm starting to think FFXIV's dev team (or at least the subset of it that works on job design) has hit the "rockstar mentality phase" that Blizzard's WoW dev team did years ago, before they drove their game off a cliff.
