Losing kaiten has made me leave the job as well. I understand people don't think its a huge change but to many people it went hand in hand with iaijutsu to make the job seem super fun to play as. Not only did it feel really satisfying to use just from an animation stand point - only the collest looking ability we had - but it also added a feeling of weight to your next attack. It was a huge part of the job identity. You had to manage your kenki to have enough for Kairen before you do your midare. But you also wanted to pool up and burn all your kenki and this made finding the right balance immensely satisfying. It felt like ShB samurai was honestly close to perfect and removing kaiten to me has left the job feeling really basic and not as fun to play wish they would bring it back
