Island Sanctuaries demonstrates unhealthy play styles that's alarming!

I'm guessing most of the people doing it on youtube are rushing through it so they can be the first to post content. You need to get that out quickly if you want to garner interest. That's sadly just the way it is but for some of those people, that's kind of their job so I wouldn't say it's necessarily unhealthy.

For random FC friends who are doing that, yeah I guess you could say it's unhealthy. But people will do what they want. For some people, they're struggling with life and this is an escape for them. Maybe they need professional help but if this is what soothes them in the moment, I say let them be. They need to pursue that kind of thing on their own terms and in their own time.

What you are prescribing is physically impossible. What the OP describes is spot on. There are people who will no-life any content that comes out, and it is simply not possible to "satisfy" them. You can take the equivalent of a long, 60-hour single-player game, and there will be people who finish it within a week tops. There will never be "enough" content for people like that, and nothing will ever qualify as "long lasting" for them. Island Sanctuaries, frankly, seems to have a considerable amount of lasting content for people who partake of it and the game in its intended and healthy fashion. It is in fact on a certain small segment of the community to recognize that what they seek is not possible.
