Dear Square Enix, let's talk about racial traits?

I'll say this again...

About 90% or more of the gear that took racial traits in consideration are just based on gear that was already implemented by Tanaka's team before Yoshida took over.
The first thing Yoshida decided regarding gear modelling was practically ask fans if they wanted quality (but unique models would take longer to be made) or quantity (but gear would lose detail, and we end up with less headgear that respects ears, less concern with tail clipping etc). Apparently at the time people asked for quantity without realising it.

Once they had to start pushing new models on their own that was literally it.

Tanaka and 1.0 had many problems. Attention to model detail was definitely not one of them. They did that significantly better. Down to visible swappable belts and ear holes/sockets in everything where it made sense.

yes, I remember you commenting about the racially-traced items being from 1.0

Despite that, if they really asked this question in the past, I believe they should ask again, or revise this decision.

From what people say, at the time of 1.0 the game barely had updates, and SE was not doing very well monetarily.

Nowadays things have changed and the scenario is no longer the same. I see no reason to accept a hrothgar's snout being squeezed into a Hyur helmet, or the ears and tails of all races (if any) being ripped off with every gear thrown (and now skills too).
