Why? It'd be entirely optional and give those of us who want more combat related content more stuff to do.

One thing about the sanctuary is that its just that..A SANCTUARY. No combat. We have combat everywhere else, the design of the place is that we DONT have to get into MORE combat, this is a place to kick back and rest.
