Glamours: Re-work the entire system.

No, it's not. You have no space limitations for transmogs. Every item, you got and that item had better quality than green is always available for transmogging. There is no glam dresser with limited space and you have to put an item into it etc. And the transmogs are account wide. It is also a nice advantage. If i collect a transmog template with my priestess, i can use this template on my other characters.

If we were locked to one job per character in FFXIV, I reckon dresser space wouldn't be that big an issue either. The amount of gear I want to store for glamour across all my classes is different to how much I would be storing for a character that only had one job to dress up.

In reality a glamour system that was a simple:
if=Collected, True/false

... it would fail to allow someone to use a 1,000,000 gil dye on a cheap item and store it in the glam chest for multiple future uses.
E.g.: jet black die on a hempen chamise.

The current system allows this, both on the items and/or on a glamour plate, and a lot of people find it a valuable capability. You're asking them to give this feature up. I doubt they will be pleased.

It's essentially the same thing.

It doesn't matter that alts on that game can use templates because they still have to adhere to the restrictions of what they can wear. You don't have multiclassing on that game. You don't even have non-combat classes with their own gear as an option.

Every transmog system is essentially the same thing. But again, you have no space restrictions because there is no glam dresser. And the restricted space is the major thing, which annoys the players mostly. In WoW, every character has access to every transmog template in the game as long as the character can equip that item. You only have to unlock the transmog template by collectiong the corresponding item. You can sell the item afterwards and the transmog template is still available.

They have Literally explained to you why Better Is different than good, and why people that use this glamour sistem could still love and ask something better or qol addition to the system.
