When money is involved, makers will find ways to circumvent those things. The only reliable way is server side detection. And this is very limited.

Dont think that any anticheat is effective, even if they are as rootkit, cheaters will just use an OS that mimics the normal OS, to give the rootkit the idea they are truly in the root, while effectively there is still code above it that they cant see. The only disadvantage of this method is stability, and botters do generaly not realy care if their server crashes occasionaly (they will just ensure a decent reboot mechanism to restart everthing automaticly). These sort of cheats are used in FPS games for the past 10 years already and have shown to be very hard to detect. Most games for that reason already rely on 3rd party detection because of its difficulty.

Note, those fps games generaly dont even involve money in it! Money is generaly going to make people more willing to break through it. Its a serious business to make such things, and therefor takes a serious business to counter it. And thats why you are generaly always a step behind.

And another problem is, as reputation doesnt matter, late detection barely matters.

Its realy not an easy thing, it takes a lot of effort and costs quite a bit of money to still only get a half decent system.

Anticheats stop only those people, who want to be stopped. So do not expect, that it will stop professional botters.
