It was also so atrociously handled for anyone who even qualified. There was no real telling if you got it or not.
I ended up with $50 worth of pizza because they wouldn't show any confirmation of the promo being added sometimes.

I know i would be happy if they did.
Back in ARR i REALLY wanted the Dalamund minion but the Blue ray CD it came with Was not available to people in my country, I also cannot buy a lot of statues nor art books as they don't ship too my country.

I would be more than happy if they added the emotes and minions to the store, maybe 1 year after the statue/music release, after all the minions and emotes etc are a bonus perk, not the main product with a bonus music Cd, art book or statue.
The "bonus" really should be getting to have the emote/minion etc accessible a year or so before everyone else, plus you get a cool statue/CD/Art Book.

So yeah, Please put them on the mog station SE, its long past time on some of them, i doubt there are many players with Dalamund still active or the Ultima emote that came with the statue (you cant even get anymore).

The floating-in-the-air emote is from the Omega statue. Basically, you get two: the Omega-M emote ("/simulationm", where you spiral up one direction and synthesize a gleaming sword you hold while floating in the air), and the Omega-F one ("/simulationf", where you spiral up the other direction and synthesize a gleaming spear you hold while floating in the air).

I love the emotes -- they're great for idling while waiting for someone to finish a cutscene at the beginning of a fight -- but they're unquestionably egregious. The other statue emotes are flashy, but the Omega ones let you idle in the air indefinitely, and while I love that aspect of them, I imagine it is just salt in the wounds to see for anyone who wanted the statue and didn't get it. :/

More of us than you'd think; I may not have bothered to make a forum account until Shadowbringers, but I've been around since 1.x, and have accumulated a lot of those random minions. (Because I am a soundtrack and lore nerd, so I have ordered basically every CD they've put out, as well as the artbooks and Encyclopaedia Eorzea volumes.)

And while I don't bother collecting minions on my raid-alt, she does have any of those ones tied to soundtracks and such where I have them account-wide. So I leave wind-up Bahamut out on her, and just never bother to swap to anything else.

(I like wind-up Bahamut -- from the ARR soundtrack -- better than the wind-up Dalamud that came with the 1.x one. For one thing, Bahamut wears the broken shell of wind-up Dalamud as a hat, which is just adorable. And he fights with wind-up Louisoix if they're near each other, which is also adorable.)

That said, it always makes me a little sad when someone asks her "Oh my god, where did you get that minion? I need it!" and I have to tell them "Well, first you need a time machine to go back and get the original run of the Realm Reborn soundtrack on Japanese Blu-Ray..."

That was easily one of the most poorly handled promotions I've seen in a very long time. Only a tiny fraction of players were even able to participate, and out of those that did even less got the reward.
