Well, I'm going to disagree with most of the posters here and agree with the OP on one aspect of his complaint. I just expected to see a larger bump in raw damage between THM and BLM. The only difference comes with the addition of the new abilities added to the class and nothing else. You can talk about someone's gear all you want but what does that have to do with someone comparing their own dmg to the dmg they were doing as a THM?

How about the fact you can essentially double the damage you can do as a BLM via convert?

New abilities are what separates jobs and classes.
