I was spending some time on twitter and saw this post (I won't disclose the author so he doesn't suffer punishment due to the use of mods).



That's what I'm talking about, when I say that the viera's ears could have more animations. Imagine if this were part of the emotes, it would be awesome!

I'd straight up take those floppy ears as my default ears too thanks, not the sad excuse for "floppy" we have as an option. But I so much agree with viera and hrothgars needing mega love. I took the dive from Miqote to Viera. I don't want to go back now. I love the bun race. But I do not love its lack of hairstyles and headware. Both races deserve to have as much work done to the and with them as the other races. The ears really are stiff, and I was so sad to see that they didnt move with emotes. Buns would be 100% more adorable if their ears emoted with them like Miqotes get. And I do get it, we get to "choose our ears" and it ends up being its own texture and mesh and you would have to redesign every piece of headgear in game (as well as make a hat hairstyle for each type of headgear). But if you plan on releasing a race, id expect the same work that went into the base released races to be done to the new ones. Yes it would take time, yes it would take new meshes specifically for the new races. But this response from the community is to be expected. The races feel half finished. If you arent going to give us the ability to wear current hats and hairstyles already in game and available to the other races, the least that could be done is any future headgear and hairstyles be released for both races respectively. But even with that, I would like to see the team work on it on the side to slow add in the mesh and texture support for the old hairstyles and hats, even if its done in small batches.

Well I guess I can visit Jandewhoozits in 6.2 and actually enjoy it now. Maybe.
Still want more options every single modern aesthetic (bar Cloud/genderlocks) is in my saddlebag waiting to be popped

Is there any confirmation on whether the new gear is usable by Viera? It seems like all the new tome gear and raid gear they're releasing is hood, helmets, and complicated hats.
It's looking right now like it's going to be another update where Viera can wear none of the gear they get dropped.

in new gear previews (idk how to link) a male viera was wearing the new hat for Casters but idk whether that was mb, tome or raid gear. The headpiece is also another lameo piece that deletes hair but it doesnt chop off viera ears so hrothgar/viera Casting mains get 1 new hat this patch. a hrothgar monk wore an eyepatch which yawn. No helm seen showed any part of the face so hrothgar can expect to get their snout lobbed off if they wanna wear a helm with no visor.

So I didn't see any new hair which to me is like them saying "Basically we have given up on Viera and Hroth for now, sorry you have been waiting for 4 years but now you don't even get hair lol please look forward to it lol we are trying our best" respectfully a pissed off Bun that isn't simping right now >_> maybe it's in the patch notes so I will just keep huffing this copium
