Those are the haters or originalityHave to agree there I love the party search apart from the huge glaring flaw that is nobody uses it ><
As party lead it makes everything so much easier and allows you time to get on with other things while people join, but no most people want to put there little flag up and let the party lead do all the work ><

I understood The Last Remnant plenty, mechanics weren't even near the core of it's problems. It was just a plainly bad game made with an engine SE should have stayed well away from, considering the final quality. Sorry for the OT.

The translation turned rush sykes into a terrible character.
Two worlds was god aweful It look like a ps1 game >.> on a next gen system. Some of the characters had vortex faces with it would be smushed into a single point like the tip of the nose.
Anyway.
I agree ganmes are not that hard to pick up and play. It just the willingess of the ppl to use the system. Andno one is willing to. They hope someone else dores it. Same is going on in ffxi. PPl shout/ wait for ppl who are forming aby parties, but are unwilling to start their own. Or form a party and play hot potatoe with the leader icon. I had issues of getting party leader w/o being asked then having to leave. I would get a rep but no one wanted to be the new leader. It just got to the point where its better to just disband vs and going to do my stuff then deal with that.
Battle Regiment Is Easy.
Battle Regiment Is effective.
Battle Regiment is also Not Fun.

I disagree. Seeing 3-4k damage total in one BR is a LOT of fun. Takes a normal grind party and gives it a different element, promoting teamwork and actual brain use. I find that fun.
Battle Regiment needs only one change, dont lock me out of doing other stuff whilst I'm waiting for people to add to the stack, this is the one massive downside.
In FFXI you needed a lot more coordination admittedly but if you were first in the chain you got to fire and forget, right now if you are early in the chain and its a long cast or chain you can get screwed over and locked out of battle for so long your overall DPS is well down. (infinitely more so with the number of times it all goes wrong and then everyone in the chain is locked out)
To add a bit further, I would like to see when the chain starts, your actions are immediately executed and then sit in an expanding sphere above the mob, more stack items add further to the sphere, but importantly all these items are executed immediately allowing you to move on to other attacks)
The stack would still be "executed" by the chain starter but only when he is happy with the damage achieved. To expand it slightly further have the colours within the sphere represent the outcome of any debuffs e.t.c.
