So ? What's wrong with that ? Anyone with some logical sense and that doesnt care about FC themselves will use an FC to get a house, it's so easy to get a house that way and it's not even abuse of the system either.

Won't comment on what's wrong with that, but if that's true then that might explain why there aren't that many bidders on houses in OP's ward. Most of the small/med for FCs on my dc that are currently empty stay empty every single bidding session.

It's all the personal plots that are being bid on that people are struggling to get a hold of.

Thank you for being honest about the state of Materia compared to those who try to say that everything is fine and there's plenty of pop.

Been saying its on a decline for months and all the defenders come out of the woodwork saying 'its fine, queues are good', yet every time they post on the forums its a level 80 boosted alt that cant even do endgame content.

I really don't blame people for wanting the servers to succeed, i would love to go back there if the population ever boomed, but the sad truth is that the servers are bad for SEA players, and that lowers the population to the point where its not worth playing on.

I think you don't understand the situation on Ravana.

There is a large number of personal plots available. We're not talking a few hundred plots left. We're talking well over one thousand. Larges seem to be limited to Goblet at this point but mediums are all over the place and smalls have barely been touched.

There's no one bidding on houses in the OP's ward because there's no need to. They've got plenty of choice in the other wards and in the other housing districts.

I've noticed that without the pressure of a housing shortage Empy is the very least desirable of the housing areas. Even Goblet is filling faster.

When there are plenty of homes people are mostly avoiding Empy like the plague.

Opinions on what looks good and bad is personal. Ishgard on that does already look better to me than for example gridania or uldah. Its basicly the building style that appeals. So its not just because its new.

And the same happens with your character, well before you even choose the glams. Some like a lalafel, i would avoid that completely.

Advantage of having alts on different servers is you get to have a house in each of the housing districts and experience them all. Personally Empyreum is the polar opposite of a place like Lavender Beds but it has it's own appeal. In my case it will be nice when our ward fills up given there are only 5 of the 30 houses taken at the moment and our ward is pretty typical of many.
