You do that lol. To each their opinion. You and OP should form a group. One can complain about neighborhood housing and the other can complain about instanced housing. I'm sure it'll be a great success.
As for why it's wrong, because everyone should be able to get a house without needing to resort to exploiting the system to get one. But I'm sure you'll just reply with how instanced housing is the worst thing ever so I'm just gonna stop there and save my breath.

Oh hey you're alive! How've ya been?Only one bid was placed in the entire ward 18 of Ravana foundation. I even called out in pf'ers to come and bid the 18th offering to make their exterior for free, but all I saw was, "There were no participants in this lottery" and I blame island sanctuary for taking the steam out of the housing market and sending it into a recession.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Island Sanctuary has nothing to do with it. Plenty of available plots to choose from (including medium and large) compared to world population does.Only one bid was placed in the entire ward 18 of Ravana foundation. I even called out in pf'ers to come and bid the 18th offering to make their exterior for free, but all I saw was, "There were no participants in this lottery" and I blame island sanctuary for taking the steam out of the housing market and sending it into a recession.
Certainly I know the last thing I would ever want to do is buy a house in the same ward where you have one. I've got no desire to listen to your endless complaints and commentary.

This isn't a dig at Materia, but perhaps everyone has a house now.Only one bid was placed in the entire ward 18 of Ravana foundation. I even called out in pf'ers to come and bid the 18th offering to make their exterior for free, but all I saw was, "There were no participants in this lottery" and I blame island sanctuary for taking the steam out of the housing market and sending it into a recession.
The playerbase isn't huge, and some people just don't care about housing or just play alts there.
There are 7200 houses on Ravana. The last stats from XIVCensus show there are less than 7000 level 90 characters on Ravana, and less than 14K total on Materia.
You obviously do not have to be level 90 to buy a house, but it just shows how little population is, when anywhere from 10-30% of that number may not even care about housing at all.

I'm personally hoping that numbers will pick up for 6.2 given the data center is pretty dead right now. Anyone wanting a house will certainly be able to get one here there are tons here with no bids including large and mediums on the various servers.
Only 5 in my subdivision, larges sold and 2 smalls about it and that's on Sophia.

Thank you for being honest about the state of Materia compared to those who try to say that everything is fine and there's plenty of pop.I'm personally hoping that numbers will pick up for 6.2 given the data center is pretty dead right now. Anyone wanting a house will certainly be able to get one here there are tons here with no bids including large and mediums on the various servers.

As much as I will gladly defend you in some cases, if you have 4 gingerbread houses which absolutely ruin the entire scenery and ruin the theme of the area, it's not a surprise no one goes there, I will gladly avoid any gingerbread, paissa, carbuncle or chocobo house because of that, and I am sure I'm not the only one
