how do I feel? considering I only buy things I like, I feel.. hmmm.. satisfaction. despite you not liking real world examples, it is no different than buying a nice pair of shoes. I like the look, I can afford them, so I buy them. same with a mount or outfit. I enjoy the game, so I dont mind buying them if it supports the game in some way.

stop being a troll and saying "people dont love Eorzea" because they do something you dont like. you are one person amongst many, and thankfully, we are not all the same. nor do we all share the same views or opinions. if this is a shock to you, maybe you need to get out more.

I feel like I contributed more to my community. Those server upgrades? New Regions getting their own Data Center? They have mentioned a few times in the past that a vast majority of the subscription goes back into the company to fund other projects. Mogstation goes directly back into the game. So yeah, while you wanna get upsetti spaghetti over pixels...I'm going to enjoy what I have and continue contributing a bit more to my community as a whole then just subscribing.

Only thing I've bought on the shop was a pack of fantasias last summer when they were on sale. Still have two of them left. Thought about buying Cruise Chaser, but never got around to it.

Other people wanna buy stuff? Sure, whatever, it's not my money so why should I care?

When it's a mount that really sparks joy for myself, like Fatter Cat did: I'm excited.

When it's a mount that does not personally spark joy for myself: I don't buy it.

a bibliophile purchasing that rare first-edition Manga volume
a video gamer purchasing a copy of Final Fantasy, still in its original wrapped condition.

Enjoyable. Yes.

What were you expecting for an answer? A sense of deep remorse because I spent money on something?
