To be fair, those give you a visual indicator. See the square? Stand still and take care!
We had 2 sprouts, and 3rd myself, who I'd still consider a sprout as its only been one day since I stopped being one.
and then we had this amazing individual drop the bomb![]()
not sure how he expected any of us to "know mechanics" in a dungeon we've never been to.
we kicked him before the 3rd boss kek.

"No, I will not tell you how to do thing"
"Yes, I know thing. Now do it"
And they say that real life isn't funny, lol.
My personal opinion is the question of what constitutes "polite." Different people can see the same comment in different ways. As a general rule of thumb, unsolicited advice is more likely to be perceived as rude. The example we're responding to could be a good such case. Some tanks only feel comfortable pulling one pack. Maybe they're new to tanking. Maybe they took a break from the game and are just getting back into it and want to take it easy for a run or two until they feel they're back into the swing of things. Frankly, if they went several pulls in a row only pulling one pack (as opposed to just one to gauge the group and then pulling more), there's probably an intentional reason they're only pulling one. Some dungeons just go that way, and I could easily see it being taken as rude if you tell the tank to pull more. Without the quote, we can't even begin to speculate on whether the "I nicely asked..." is likely to be perceived as an accurate depiction. So you take a few more minutes to clear a dungeon - big deal. I wonder how some of us would survive if we went back to the early days of MMOs where you had to sit in a town calling for people to manually assemble a party, then manually travel all the way to the dungeon. Some might think it's a joke but this really does happen, and pretty often too. So many people have the mentality that no one should be criticized in the game so they tell you to shut up even if the criticism wasn't directed at them, even in a case like this where there wasn't even any cricitism, just asking nicely to pull more. That's what happens when they're not forced to be better during the leveling process. I don't know who it benefits to protect people from trying to play better, you'd think it would benefit everyone but not in their heads.
TL;DR - If the run is still going smooth, making any unsolicited comment is likely to be seen as rude by its very nature, no matter how "nicely" you think you're phrasing it. What you consider "advice" is more likely to be seen positively if someone either specifically asks for it or the group is struggling to complete the content.
Depending on the dungeon I'll watch a guide.

I don't like being the person that screws up and wipes us. Wish more people would think like that.
Believe it or not, we didnt really screw up or wipe. healer was just having an ego trip  god forbid he had to heal slightly more than needed.
I haven't had issues with wiping or long dungeon runs in a long time so I don't know what people here are talking about. Turn off your parser and don't expect everyone to be optimal at all times in this game. If you're not single pulling and you're not wiping there's really no reason to speak up about anything.
I wonder if they realize stating something like that in chat can get them a nice little ban if reported.

I still do not get the pun with all this... I see Mentors... with apparently powerfull legend titles and more on it doing worse than many new people... experiencing it in harder content and they yell and scream and them, themself fail horrible to even base mechanics be it normal content or EX or whatever.
Actually veterans often am the worse player as it is, due to lack of commitment and expecting others to do the work for them.

I just expect people to know what they're doing past a certain point. Folks running off with stack markers past 50 is really, REALLY annoying.
